Located just a few minutes' drive from the A1/A35 highways, our hotel offers limited free parking and is easily accessible by public transport. The Gravenallee, a scenic route for hikers and cyclists, leads directly into the serene nature surrounding Almelo. House Rules

To ensure a comfortable stay for all guests, we kindly ask that you adhere to the following house rules:

• Please follow all instructions from hotel staff.

• In the event of a fire, remain calm, report it to the reception, and activate the nearest fire alarm.

• For safety, do not use elevators during a fire alarm.

• A valid ID is required at check-in. Minors (under 18) must be accompanied by an adult and must present a parental consent form. A credit card guarantee or a €150 deposit is also required at check-in.

• The hotel is equipped with security cameras, and guests consent to being recorded. These recordings may be shown to authorities in the event of an emergency or incident.

• Items found in the hotel should be handed in at the reception.

• Van der Valk Theaterhotel Almelo is not responsible for the loss or theft of personal belongings.

• The hotel is not liable for any injuries or material damage experienced by visitors.

Prohibited Activities

• Emergency exits should only be used in emergencies, not as regular entrances or exits.

• It is prohibited to remove hotel property or cause intentional damage.

• The use, possession, or trade of narcotics is strictly forbidden.

• The consumption of laughing gas is not permitted, and any laughing gas containers will be confiscated.

• Disruptive behavior, such as playing loud music or disturbing other guests, is not allowed.

• Unauthorized guests are not permitted in rooms for any reason.

• Smoking is not permitted in the rooms. A cleaning fee of €150 will be charged if smoking is detected.

• Pets are allowed in our restaurant and breakfast areas.

Privacy and Compliance

We respect your privacy, but in cases of non-compliance with these rules, hotel management reserves the right to enter your room. We enforce a zero-tolerance policy: any violation of these house rules may result in immediate expulsion from the hotel without a refund.
