House Almelo

A beautiful castle in the center of Almelo. A unique place! The castle was built at the beginning of the 13th century and has often undergone a metamorphosis in recent years. The site is private property of the Van Rechteren Limpurg family and is not accessible. But looking at the castle is of course possible and well worth it. At Huize Almelo you look deep into the Gravenallee. This centuries-old hunting track is 3.5 kilometers long and runs from the Almelo-Nordhorn Canal.
