Almelo Marina

Since April 1998 the municipality of Almelo has owned a 'pearl' of a marina in the centre of the city. The word 'pearl' was not coincidentally thought up or invented but was literally spoken by a renowned person as a passerby in the marina 'Almelo Centrum'.

The praise for the marina and its High-tech appearance is without doubt due to the modern, customer-friendly layout according to the wishes of the watersports enthusiast.

The marina has space for 90 to 120 yachts and is surrounded by apartments and a few shops that are in harmony with the 'water' element. The marina is not only used by transient visitors, but one can also go there for a permanent berth.
